Deepa Aswani is a Senior Director of Content Experience at Salesforce, where she leads a 45-person team of writers, content strategists, and managers. Her work spans the full spectrum of enterprise content — from customer-facing documentation to internal engineering enablement — for flagship programs including Agentforce, Hyperforce, and Missionforce, Salesforce's initiative in partnership with the U.S. government.
Over 24 years, Deepa has brought her expertise to some of the world's most consequential technology organizations — including Oracle, eBay, Adobe, and Salesforce — shaping how complex systems are documented, taught, and understood at enterprise scale. Her career spans individual craft, team leadership, and executive strategy across two continents.
She is a published technical editor, having contributed developmental edits and content direction to four professional titles in PHP, Apache, and MySQL published by Wrox and PacktPub — a reflection of her longstanding commitment to knowledge transfer and the craft of clear technical communication.
Deepa is a natural relationship builder — someone who instinctively sees what makes each person on a team unique and works to bring out their best. She leads through genuine connection, empathy, and the ability to find common ground across engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders. She is equally known as an ideas person and a catalyst: the one in the room who generates the fresh angle, then moves swiftly to make it real.

Experience
Conceived and led development of the AI-CDK (AI Content Development Kit) — a purpose-built toolchain that fundamentally modernizes how Salesforce's 22,000-person Technology & Product organization authors, reviews, and publishes content at scale.
Championed a Docs-as-Code movement that transitioned the full organization to a Markdown/Git-based authoring model, putting Salesforce's content infrastructure on a foundation of AI-readiness no other internal knowledge management system had previously achieved.
Redesigned the Content Development Lifecycle (CDLC) end-to-end — introducing AI-assisted drafting, automated style guide verification, and instant review recommendations — eliminating 100% of traditional review costs and collapsing the review SLA from 24 hours to immediate feedback.
Partners with the Developer Experience (DX) organization to directly reduce support costs across the infrastructure and application paved paths and SDLC — making it easier for service owners to onboard, operate, and self-serve without escalation.
Launched an AI Center — a curated internal content hub delivering AI enablement resources for all 80,000+ Salesforce employees, with content tailored to the specific tools engineers use internally, including Cursor, Claude, Gemini, and Notebook LM.
Created and launched The Prompt, a company-wide newsletter reaching all 80,000+ employees with updates on both product growth and internal productivity enablement. Its impact was recognized at the highest level — the Salesforce Office of the CEO requested the newsletter be delivered directly to them, with an open rate of 83% from that office alone.
Operates as a core pillar of Salesforce's developer enablement and change management ecosystem alongside the Training organization and Agile Coaches — a deliberate tripartite model where Training owns education, Content Experience owns the knowledge layer, and Agile Coaches drive behavioral transformation — together forming the machinery that keeps one of the world's largest technology organizations moving at speed.
